# Crystal 1.1.1 has been released!

This is a patch of the 1.1.0 release with a few fixed regressions. If you find an issue, check the issue tracker and file a bug: it will be fixed in the 1.1.2 version.

⚠ Note that this release is available in [the new apt and rpm repositories post](https://crystal-lang.org/2021/04/30/new-apt-and-rpm-repositories.html), as well as GitHub release artifacts. You might need to update your package repositories.

This is because of the [different steps](https://github.com/crystal-lang/distribution-scripts/blob/master/processes/crystal-release.md) needed to complete the process. We are working to improve the release process to shorten the time for future releases.
