Docs generating don't respect "extend self" in modules

Hello, first post here!

Have a minor problem, maybe a “little” bug when generating docs with: crystal docs

Given this module:


TODO: Write documentation for DocsTest
module DocsTest
extend self
VERSION = "0.1.0"

def self.hello_self
puts "Hello self"
end

def hello_extend
puts "Hello extend"
end
end

crystal docs generates for namespace DocsTest

Class Method Summary

  • [.hello_self]

Instance Method Summary

  • [#hello_extend]

So it doesn’t noticed that hello_extent is also a class method (macro extend). It gets documented as an instance method.

I’ve looked in issue tracker and not found an open report to this.

Don’t know if i could/should create a issue. Therefor i use this as my “first post” instead…
