The last couple of days I took some time to recompile some code (my segmented parallel threaded Twin Primes sieve) in the newly updated versions of Crystal (1.2.2), Rust (1.57), and Nim (1.6.2). Previously (and still) the Rust version is the fastest, but Crystal is now better in memory management, at least for this one app. This program counts the number of Twin Primes within the (unsigned) 64-bit number space, i.e. numbers upto 2**64 - 1 = 18,446,744,073,709,551,615.
