Crystal Newsletter Subscribe not working on https://crystal-lang.org/newsletter/

I’m a newbie (though I’ve been using Ruby since 2011). But I’m frustrated by the fact that some things don’t work on the language’s official website https://crystal-lang.org/.
How can you expect a language to be popular if something doesn’t even work on your official website?
It’s important to understand that marketing is also important for programming languages. Everything should work on the official website, but instead I get the following message:

But despite this minor annoyance …

I’m delighted with Crystal language! Thank you for creating such a wonderful language! I’ll keep trying to learn and use it. Thank you! :+1:

This looks like a temporary outage, which might happen on rare occasions.

Have you tried again later?

You know, I tried it a few days ago, tried it again today - the result is still the same.

Hm, the URL is served fine to me.

Maybe there’s a regional access block in place?
You could try a VPN or proxy from a different country.

Yes, it looks like it’s a block.
I’ve subscribed to the newsletter.

It all seems very funny, of course—all these ridiculous blocks—and they can all be resolved in a matter of seconds without much effort (with VPN). But I understand that someone is required to comply with the sanctions. :man_shrugging: :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Many thanks! :handshake:
