I built a dashboard to track the Crystal ecosystem on GitHub: Crystal Community Stats

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a way to get a better bird’s-eye view of how our ecosystem is evolving. I just launched Crystal Community Stats, a central hub to monitor the overall health and growth of Crystal projects on GitHub.

You can now track:

  • Total repositories across the community.

  • 30d trends to see what’s currently gaining momentum.

  • Contributor data and star trends.

  • and more

I hope this helps developers find active projects and see how the ecosystem is expanding. Check it out here:

Feedback is more than welcome! :gem_stone:

Maybe add a options, which include/exclude deprecated (or long time no updated) projects when checky by star, because the search give many result which in fact dead projects.

And, how to get the project list with fresh commits (30d)?

Wow, this is incredibly cool, thank you! And to my delight, it’s fully readable and accessible with my screen reader!

One teeny nitpick: Could you make the two images above the table, I believe they’re top stars and one other, have more proper, descriptive alt text that actually describes the top starred repos? That would make it 100% accessible instead of 98, but this is absolutely fantastic, thanks for all your work!

HEY! We just rounded 10000 projects yesterday!

Who’s getting cake?

I missed that, thanks a lot for sharing  Time to celebrate :tada:

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I’ve updated the page with your suggestions.
