I really love the Crystal language. It works well on Windows and multithreading is fun too.
However, there’s one thing I would like to say. The strategy of moving Rubyists to Crystal hasn’t been very successful and likely won’t in the future.
Instead, focus on attracting young programming enthusiasts who start with modern languages like Rust or Nim. They can discover Crystal first and then find Ruby as its dynamic version.
