We are looking to expand our team of Crystal Developers based in Australia, our head office is located in Sydney. If you are a Sydney local you are welcome to work from our office, remote work is perfectly fine for other locations. We currently have staff working remotely in Darwin, Brisbane, Melbourne, Hong Kong, UK, UAE and the US.
PlaceOS is a smart building control and automation platform built with Crystal. Our software is deployed around the world to help companies manage, book and report on assets within their physical environment alongside capturing important data around the building and workplace health.
Our tech stack primarily comprises of Crystal, Rethink, Postgres, Redis and Kubernetes. Our frontends are built in Angular with Typescript.
On an average day, you might participate in an agile standup or planning session, review platform features, actively work on backend features, platform stability or core architecture. You might provide internal support to our frontend teams regarding platform API or other interaction between front and back end. Your code will be peer reviewed, and you will peer review others in your team.
We are looking for anyone with Crystal or Rails experience who may be interested in joining the team, all levels of experience are considered for the right candidate. This is a full time role and remuneration will be based on experience.
