I’m a cybersecurity specialist with about 10 years of experience in vulnerability management, SOC work, and offensive security.
I stumbled across Crystal entirely by accident, coming from a Ruby background. Ruby was my first language, and I found the appeal of C-level performance too hard to resist. I got started by porting over some simple Python scripts and have been hooked ever since.
I believe Crystal has a lot of untapped potential in the security space, and I hope to connect with others who share an interest in developing custom tooling with a language that solves a lot of real problems, and even shows promise for evading detection more easily due to its relatively unknown binary signature.
