Wanted to introduce myself. I’ve recently become a big fan of Crystal. Been a big fan of Ruby for a very long time, but have found myself using more systems langs like Go or Rust. So I’ve found Crystal to be a real treat.
I’m very interested in using Crystal for all sorts of apps from OS to Web. Crystal feels very productive with the combination of the compiler and the Ruby flow. I’ve already ported my mini text editor from C, built a small script runner for crystal projects, and made good progress on a kemal app in only a week!
Planning on using Crystal for a lot of my future side projects.
