I’m part of a tech community in Buenos Aires, and we use to invite people to talk, in a rather informal but pretty technical way, about technology and development stuff. I think it would be great if someone from the Crystal Team could be interested in giving a talk about this awesome project.

Great, I reopen this thread. We are thinking about organizing a new meetup next Thursday 15th august, somewhere near palermo neighborhood.

Probably! They only happen on Thursday, right? I would need to ask my dance partner to give the class alone, but it should be doable.

Yeah, Thursday is the day as that’s what the venue host can offer us. The talk should be about 30/40 minutes so if you have later/earlier commitments you may be able to shuffle through. The venue is in Núñez, Buenos Aires.
Would it be possible to record the talks and put them on youtube or so?
IMHO it would be good to increase visibility and maybe some folks will stumble over recordings. It’s also nice to have a possibility to reach people who might not be able to come personally.
Imagine if Juan Linietsky and Ary/Brian meet up. If a photo was taken, I think it would be my favourite photo of all time. Argentina really does have some of the most inspirational developers.
