Crystal Language and UEFI

Hello, actually I was developing an OS with fasmg, and I want to continue my project with Crystal. is possible to compile a crystal code as an uefi application to boot from a GPT partition ?

Is it possible as well to compile as a flat binary, and integrate something to make my own file type ?

I checked the project you linked me, but they use GRUB, it’s not what I want, I want to code my own interface with crystal from scratch
