GitHub action for Ubuntu GETting 404 fetching dependencies

UPDATE: I have a workaround! See end of topic.

Is anyone else seeing this? I tried searching the web but my search fu isn’t strong apparently.

          - { os: ubuntu-latest, crystal: "1.20" }
          - { os: ubuntu-24.04-arm, crystal: latest }
          - { os: macos-latest, crystal: "1.21" }

As of last night I started noticing that macOS runner is working but Linux ones are failing. The “annotation” on the actions says:

This CI workflow has worked as-is for weeks. If I should post this somewhere else, or if there is an active issue somewhere, please let me know. :folded_hands:

        run: sudo -n apt-get update

      - name: Checkout code
        uses: actions/checkout@v6

      - name: Install Crystal
        uses: crystal-lang/install-crystal@v1
        with:
          crystal: ${{matrix.crystal}}

I added a Linux-specific forced apt-get update before installing the Crystal install action and the workflows are succeeding again.
