I’ve seen @Ibarasti has done some live coding on Crystal before and that inspired me to start doing it as well. I’m fairly new to Crystal so I wanted to show what it’s like to learn the language (mistakes and all). If anyone would like to join, I stream every Friday at 10am US Pacific Time at twitch.tv/arschles (all recordings go up on YouTube shortly afterward at this playlist)
Right now, I’m coding a simple URL shortener app. I’ll move on soon to a more “real” app to build documentation for a shard. I talked to some folks about it here.
