I’m an old sysadmin, but I do write code now and again. What I find in crystal is the way to run the native code mostly without the pain of manual memory management, weird syntax or verbose boring boilerplate. I think it’s brilliant, however a couple of the core team priorities I somewhat disagree with, but that’s just my opinion.
